In this step you can define your own fields for a marketing campaign through the creation of set types. These allow you to add data to your marketing campaign that otherwise could not be entered by means of the standard fields in the Marketing Planner. On the interface, these fields appear under the Additional Fields tab page on the right-hand side of the screen. Note however that we recommend you use the Easy Enhancement Workbench fields if possible, as these can also be displayed in the PCUI. The set type fields cannot be displayed in the PCUI.

Example: For a specific marketing project, you may wish to set up your own fields for brand names and brand categories.

Define the set type and enter a short description for it. You can then assign attributes to the set type. There are two check boxes next to the attributes. In the first you can indicate whether you want the attributes to be sent to BW. The second allows you to indicate whether the attribute should be used as a selection criteria in BW.

Set types can also be maintained in a Customizing system and transported into the productive system. To do this, you need to go into the user menu and choose Master Data → Product → Maintain Set Types and Attributes. You then choose Attributes/Set Types → Transport → Include in request and enter the ID of the set type you wish to transport. In the dialog box, you choose Display/ Change and add the package to which you want to assign the set type. You then choose Enter. Another dialog box appears. In this box you specify the transport request and choose Enter.

For more information on defining fields using set types and attributes to define fields, see the documentation in the SAP Library under CRM Customer Relationship Management → Master Data → Product → Set Types and Attributes.

For specific information on transporting set types to production systems, see CRM Customer Relationship Management → Master Data → Product → Set Types and Attributes → Transporting Set Types to Production Systems.
