In this Customizing activity, you make general settings for newsletter subscription and subscription confirmation in SAP Web Channel Experience Management.

Make entries for the following:

• Inbound E-Mail ID

This is the ID of the e-mail address that appears as the sender's address for newsletter confirmation e-mails.

• Opt-In Type

This is the subscription type for newsletters. Available types include opt-in, confirmed opt-in, and double opt-in.

• Marketing Attribute Set

This determines the attributes displayed on the Newsletter Subscription page in the Web shop.

• Confirmation Mailform Template ID

This is the mail form template that the system uses when sending out confirmation e-mails for newsletter subscriptions.

• Registration Successful Mailform Template ID

This is the mail form template that the system uses when sending out final confirmation e-mails for newsletter subscriptions that use the double opt-in type. In this case, Web shop customers must reply to the first confirmation e-mail to finalize their subscription. They then receive a second confirmation e-mail, and their subscription is complete.
