You can use this Customizing activity to choose what kind of buffer you will use for organizational management data scenarios. The following options are available in Buffer Type:

  • Cluster Database: This is the default setting. The buffer is created in the cluster database INDX.

  • Shared Memory: The buffer is created in the shared memory area CL_CRM_ORGMAN_SHM_BUFFER_AREA.

  • No Buffer: The organizational management data is not buffer and data is read from the HRP* tables (this setting is not recommended).

Specify the Buffer Type (default value is Cluster Database) for the scenarios SALE and SERVICE.
