In this step you enter additional attributes to carry out the following functions:

  • You can group several attributes together in one group to link these attributes with the logical operator AND.
For example: COUNTRY AND REGION AND POSTAL_CODE.
  • You can specify the sequence in which the attributes appear on the screen when the user maintains a territory.
  • You can activate or deactivate attributes.
  • If you need to distribute data to CRM Mobile, you must map these attributes for subscription purposes. This is necessary only for additionalattributes.

You must have carried out the previous step under Territory Management -> Additional Attributes -> Define Additional Attributes.

Below is an example for maintaining the attributes. It is based on the example in the previous step and exists in the standard system.

Based on the example in the previous step:

  • Field Name: BP_COUNTRY
  • Selection Group: 1
All attributes that have the same reference object type and belong to selection group 1 are linked with the logical AND.
Note that PM_CATEGORY (product category ID) and PM_HIERARCHYGUID (product category hierarchy) should both have the same selection group, since PM_CATEGORY on its own is not unique. Alternatively, we recommend that you use PM_CATEGORY_GUID (product category GUID).
  • Reference Object Type: BUS1006
You can obtain a list of objects in the SAP Easy Access Menu under Architecture and Technology -> Basis Tools: ABAP Workbench -> Development -> Business Object Builder.
Note:
The Selection Group and the Reference Object Type fields play a significant role in the logical connection of attribute values. For more information, see Logical Connection Between Attribute Values in Territory Management.
  • Reference Table: SMOADRC
Reference Field: COUNTRY
If you do not need to use these attributes to transfer data to the mobile clients, then you can leave these fields blank.
If you need to use these attributes to transfer data to the mobile clients, you must ensure that there is a publication. Choose Architecture and Technology -> Middleware -> Administration -> Administration Console. Ensure that the data for these two fields is maintained:
Territory Management   Administration Console
Reference Table   Application Table
Reference Field   Application Field

As an example, you can look at the publication Customer & Prospects by Country. Choose the Criteria Fieldstab. You can see the following fields:
Seg. Field App. Table App. Field
COUNTRY SMOADRC COUNTRY
REGION SMOADRC REGION

For more information, see

  • SAP Solution Manager under mySAP CRM -> Scenarios -> Field Applications -> Field Territory Management with Mobile Sales -> Business Processes -> Subscription Generation

  • Entry Deactivated:
Leave blank to activate the attribute. (Alternatively, you can activate or deactive the attribute in the IMG under Territory Management -> Activate / Deactivate Attributes).
  • Output Line: 5
You can enter a number to denote where in the sequence this attribute should appear on the Create /Change Territoryscreen. (Alternatively, you can set the sequence of attributes in the IMG under Territory Management -> Activate / Deactivate Attributes).
