CRMD_CM_TEMPLATE - Define Templates for Folders

In this activity, you create templates for folders in which you can create and save information about product catalogs in Service. For these folder templates, a folder structure is created in the product catalog.

You define a folder template to be used to store information on products of product type Material. In the activity Assign Folder Template to Product Type, you then assign this folder template to the product type Material.

When maintaining products of this type in Type Maintenance, this folder is then automatically displayed in the assignment block Attachments for this product type.

You can change the template by creating new folders or changing the order of existing folders.

1. Choose New Entries.
2. Enter a name and description for the template.
3. Click with the secondary mouse button in the space under Name and choose Create Folder.
4. Enter a name and description for the folder and choose Save.

The folder appears in the table space.

Repeat this procedure to create more folders on the same level.

To attach a new folder to an existing folder, repeat the procedure, this time clicking with the secondary mouse button on the folder to which the new folder is to be attached.

1. In the relevant Customizing activity for your application, assign the folder template to the relevant object type.
