You generate the user interface (People Centric UI) for the rights and royalties dimensions you have defined in this activity.

You can define a maximum of 6 rights and royalties dimensions in the Define Rights and Royalties Dimensions Customizing activity. You define the sequence and specific characteristics of these dimensions. This defintion influences the layout of IPM-specific applications. Rights and royalties dimensions that are not required here are hidden, their field length modified and suitable possible entries recorded. These types of layout adjustments are not made during the runtime in the People Centric UI, but are generated using a report in this activity in advance.

You have executed the Define Rights and Royalties Dimensions Customizing activity and in doing so defined the rights and royalties dimensions required and their characteristics.

Execute the generation report specified in this activity. Set the Test Run indicator to an initial value when you do so.

Notes:

  • The report generates the user interface for the current clients in the current system. You must execute the report after you have defined the rights and royalties dimensions (in the test and production system) for each client in which you are using Intellectual Property Management via the People Centric UI.
  • The report can be executed as often as required.
  • If subsequent changes are made to the rights and royalties dimensions, you must subsequently execute the report again in the respective clients.
  • The system displays a log after the report is executed. Generation of the user interface is successful for the current client if this log does not contain any error messages.
