CRMPS_CONTROBJ_SETUP - Define Contract Object as Individual Object
BAL Application Log Documentation TXBHW - Original Tax Base Amount in Local CurrencyThis documentation is copyright by SAP AG.
In this IMG activity you define the settings required for the integrative use of the master data object contract object of component Public Sector Contract Accounting (PSCD) in the component Customer Relationship Management (CRM).
Contract objects are created in CRM as individual objects (for example, vehicle XY). The characteristics of the contract objects of the same group (for example, vehicles) are grouped together in a contract object family. You must define the corresponding default settings for this in Customizing and in master data processing.
In the standard system, sample entry 0502 (contract object: vehicles) is delivered. The corresponding Customizing settings are defined for this contract object family and can be used as a template.
A range of relationship types (see point 1) and set type CRMM_PR_PSOB are delivered for the creation of product master data. Tab page group PRD_PS_01 and model access class CL_CRM_BSP_MAC_PSOB are delivered for setting up the People-Centric UI.
The following describes the steps that you have to carry out as IMG activities or in the SAP Easy Access Menu. The respective IMG activities or menu transactions can be linked to directly from this document. Carry out the steps in the order they are listed.
- IMG activity Define Object Families
- Create an object family, as described in the IMG documentation Define Object Family for each required group of contract objects (for example, vehicles).
- IMG activity Contract Object: Define Object Family
- In this activity you define that an object family should be used as a contract object family. In the CRM BSP application contract objects(CRMM_PRD_PSOB), only contract objects defined as contract object families can be selected.
-
In this activity you register the set types or object families you created in the CRM BSP application Contract Objects for the People-Centric UI.
In the standard system, sample object family 0502 is delivered for the application CRMM_PRD_PSOB. We recommend that you use this sample as a template for your own customer-specific contract object families.
- Define the following settings:
Application | CRMM_PRD_PSOB |
View | - |
Product type | 01 Material |
Object family | Your contract object family |
Organizational independence | 00 |
Screen variant | - |
Version | Version 00 |
Tab page group | PRD_PS_01 |
Model Access Class | CL_CRM_BSP_MAC_PSOB |
Frame | True |
- SAP Easy Access Menu: Maintain Categories and Hierarchies
- In this master data transaction you define the product characteristics of your contract object families. You assign the contract object families as categories to a basis hierarchy. Define the set type and relationship types for the contract objects delivered:
-
Tab page Category:
Always choose the product type Material for the contract object families. If you want to make the numbers entered in the old system for contract objects in PSCD available in CRM, choose the entry PSOB_KEY_OLD under Different ID Type.
-
Tab page Set types:
Set type CRMM_PR_PSOB is delivered for contract objects. Choose this set type for your categories and define view ID PSOB. Supplement more set types in accordance with your requirements.
-
Tab page Relationship Types:
You use relationship types to select tab pages and/or the data available there that is displayed in the CRM BSP application contract objects. If you do not choose any relationship types, all relationship types are automatically assigned. You can restrict the selection by assigning specific relationship types. In this case, the assignment of relationship type PSCBA is mandatory.
- The following relationship types are available for contract objects:
Relationship type | Usage | Tab page |
---|---|---|
PSCBA | Business agreement | Basic data |
PSCOP | Outgoing payment method | Payment data |
PSCIP | Incoming payment method | Payment data |
PSCCO | Correspondence data | Correspondence |
PSCCR | Old correspondence recipient | Correspondence |
PSCIC | Inbound correspondence data | Inbound correspondence |
PSCEX | Exception periods | Inbound correspondence |
- For more information on the master data settings to be defined here, see the SAP Library of Customer Relationship Management under Categories and Hierarchies.
