You can use this Customizing activity to enable the enterprise organizational model in SAP S/4HANA Service. The enterprise organizational model includes the following:

  • Sales organizational structures
Organizational structures that belong to SAP S/4HANA Sales are directly used and accessed in SAP S/4HANA Service. Service uses the following organizational units:
  • Sales organization

  • Distribution channel

  • Division

  • Sales office

  • Sales group

You can configure sales organization structures in Customizing under Enterprise Structure -> Definition-> Sales and Distribution.
You can define an enterprise service organization in Customizing activity Define Enterprise Service Organization.
  • Service team
Service teams are created from responsibility management as the form of master data with the category of SERVICE.

Note:

  • The enterprise organizational model is enabled by default in SAP S/4HANA Cloud. This solution is the only available organizational management option for customers in SAP S/4HANA Cloud.
  • For customers in SAP S/4HANA, the legacy organizational model is used by default.
  • If you enable the enterprise organizational model in SAP S/4HANA, some functions, for example, interaction center (IC), case management, sales force support, email response management system (ERMS), and grantor management, are unavailable. You can manually enable the enterprise organizational model by using this Customizing activity in SAP S/4HANA.
