CRMS4V_IDN_PROF - Define Alternative Identifications for Locations and Objects

In this Customizing activity, you can define alternative identification profiles types to classify possible alternative names for locations and objects.

The following default entries are available as a proposal (customers can overwrite these entries in Customizing) in the location:

Profile ID: OtherName

Area: Location

Profile Description: Other Name

Type Description
1 Alias
2 False Name
3 Nickname

These values appear as Types on the interface in the assignment block Alternative Identifications.

The following default entries are available as a proposal (customers can overwrite these entries in Customizing) in the object:

Profile ID: Altividty

Area: Object

Profile Description: Alternative Identity

Type Description
10 Serial Number
20 Registration Number
30 Other Identification Number

These values appear as Types on the interface in the assignment block Alternative Identifications.
