You can define update actions, which are used to reload actions or objects that you have defined. These are for example reloaded if you use the back button when navigating in the BOL tree for the one-click actions. Reloading can also be modified for toolbar actions.

If you require other classes and methods in addition to the standard ones supplied, these must be maintained as customer-specific Z-classes and methods in the system.

The following update actions are supplied as standard:

  • NODE_ENTITY - Reload a selected node with the associated object.
  • NODE_ENTITY_CHILDS - Reload a selected node and all nodes found below it.
  • PARENT_NODE_ENTITY - Reload a higher-level node.
  • PARENT_NODE_ENTITY_CHILDS - Reload the higher-level node and all nodes found below it.
  • TREE_ENTITIES - Reload an entire tree.
  • TREE_ENTITIES_CHILDS - Reload a complete tree and all relations to the entities for the nodes in the tree.

If you want to reload a node or tree which is associated with a business partner or a contract account, you must also configure the following update actions:

  • BUSINESSPARTNER_BUFFER - Reload the business partner.
  • CONTRACTACCOUNT_BUFFER - Reload the contract account.
WARNING
Using the update action COMPLETE_BOL can have a major impact, since for example all entities loaded up to this point are reloaded. For this reason, we recommend only using this update action in conjunction with the Transaction Launcher and only using it if it is strictly necessary. This can otherwise affect the functionality here.

You can include update actions in the toolbar or in one-click actions using the Customizing entry Define Object Hierarchy and Object Attributes.
