CRMS4V_IU_UBT - Define Templates for Utilities Business Partner Relations

By creating a template, it is possible to transfer the relationship status to a new business partner to be created based on a reference business partner.

The reference business partner has already been created.

1) Specify a name for the template.

2) In the field "Relationship", define the relationship status that is to be transferred when you create a business partner using the template, for example, "Is married to".

3) Enter the reference business partner in the field "Reference BP".

All fields can be transferred, except for the category (person or organization). These are transferred from the reference business partner. To do this, the customer can use the method: CL_CRMS4_IU_BL_UBT -> Derive GET_REF_BP_DATA.

In the standard system, only the following information is copied for the personal data:

• CORRESPONDLANGUAGE

For organization:

• Industrial Sector

For central data, everything from: BAPIBUS1006_CENTRAL except SEARCHTERM1, SEARCHTERM2, PARTNEREXTERNAL, TITLELETTER

The following are also transferred: CI_DATA (customer include from but000 (INCL_EEW_BUT000)), the BP_CATEGORY, and BP_GROUP.

Optional:

4) Set a checkmark for "Accept Errors" if you want the business partner to be created even if, for example, errors occur during the address checks, or warnings are issued.

5) Set a checkmark to display the CVI messages.

6) Set a checkmark if the relationship is to be defined the other way round when the new business partner is created. For example, "Is Contact Person" is defined as the relationship, but the business partner is then created with the status "Has Contact Person".
