CRMS4_CO_SWITCH - Enable Item-Based Accounting for Service Management

Activate Service Accounting based on a dedicated cost object for Service transactions.

You can activate Service accounting based on a dedicated cost object for Service transactions in Service Management. In this type of accounting, service order items or service contract items are recognized as account assignment objects to which costs and revenues are posted.

Set the switch to True to enable an accounting based on service order items or service contract items as dedicated account assignment objects for service transactions.

You need to enable this switch to change your accounting strategy to item-based accounting. Be aware that once this switch is enabled, it may not be possible to reverse this without financial consequences. Ensure that your financial team is aware of the consequences and has approved this.
