SAP E-Book

This document explains how to configure the navigation to SAP Fiori UI for use in Service.

You can use this document as the access point for all relevant Customizing activities in Personnel Management and Service, using the links provided in the Activities section.

After you have completed the settings in the relevant Customizing activity, navigate back to this document using the green Back (F3) arrow.

You have created the required users in the backend system and frontend system.

  • Backend system
The backend system is the Service system with your relevant back-end software components installed.
  • Frontend system
The frontend system is the system where the Fiori Launchpad and your relevant front-end software components are installed.

  1. Enable related gateway services for frontend system users.
a) Open transaction IWFND/MAINT_SERVICE and enable the related gateway service. For example, to access the Fiori app for managing equipment master data, enable gateway service EAM_OBJPG_TECHNICALOBJECT_SRV.
b) Assign the system alias to the OData service.
  1. Assign PFCG roles to your frontend system users.
a) Open transaction SU01.
b) Assign the PFCG role, for example, SAP_BR_MAINTENANCE_PLANNER, to your users.
  1. Configure security settings.
a) In the backend system, open transaction se16, choose the Create Entries(F5) pushbutton, and add an entry for Clickjacking Protection in table BSPGLOBALSETTING. You also need to enter the related field values as follows:
- SORT Key: 0001
- NAME: CLICKJACKING
- VALUE: ON
For more information, see SAP Notes 2166717 and 2319192.

Under Define Transaction Launcher Logical Systems and URLs, define the URL of ITSfor the Mapping S4C_FIORI. The URL of ITSconsists of a protocol, a host, and a port. The port is optional.
b) Define the parameter mapping for navigating to the Fiori UI. You do this in the Customizing activity Define Parameter Mapping.
c) Define the logical link settings in the Customizing activity Define Navigation Bar Profile.
Under Define Logical Links, define the logical link ID, type, target ID, parameter, parameter class, title, and description. To ensure successful navigation to the Fiori UI, perform the following steps:
- Choose C (Launch Transaction)as the logical link type.
- Enter EXECLTX as the target ID.
- Specify parameter class to CL_CRMS4_FIORI_UI_LTX_NAV_PARA.
- Enter a parameter in the format of S4C_FIORI_UI_LTX:: .
For example, S4C_FIORI_UI_LTX:EQUI:B,where EQUI is the UI object type and B is the object action. The UI object type is user configurable. You can choose an object action based on your requirements.
Under Define Generic Outbound Plug Mappings, define the object type, object action, use link, and logical link ID for the generic outbound plug mapping.
