In this Customizing activity, you will define the number range for the Smartform objects.

When a checklist template or checklist instance is replicated, the system assigns a number automatically. You use the number range interval to determine from which number range, the number is taken.

To create a new number range, proceed as follows:

1. Choose Change Intervals.

The Maintain Number Range Intervals screen appears.

2. Choose Insert Line/Interval.

3. You can make the following settings:

• Number Range No.

The number range number for Checklist Templates must always be 01. You should notchange this number.

• From number

Enter the lower limit of the interval.

• To number

Enter the upper limit of the interval.

4. Repeat Step 3 for Checklist Instances with number range number as 02. You should not change this number.

5. Save your number range.
