In this Customizing activity, you define the mapping of text types of service transactions in SAP S/4HANA to text attributes in SAP Field Service Management.

A service transaction, such as a service contract, can have multiple notes of different types, both at header and item level. The text type is determined by the text determination procedure using one of the following options:

• Transaction type (in the case of a header note)

• Item category (in the case of an item note)

However, SAP Field Service Management can only receive one type of note. Therefore, it is necessary to define which text type of a note for a service transaction should be replicated to which target text attribute in SAP Field Service Management.

Choose a text attribute for which the note should be replicated in SAP Field Service Management, and then choose the text type. You can use the F4 help to determine which text types are available for a specific service transaction.

SCI	Service Contract Item: Remarks		0001	Sales Text

In this example, only the notes of a service contract at item level with text type 0001 are replicated to the remarks of a contract in SAP Field Service Management.
