Action profiles can be used to define functions which, similar to a toolbar, allow various actions to be performed. These action profiles can be used together with the definition of forms in order to build customer-specific UIs with individually adapted action options through customizing alone.

An action profile can define forms in Customizing Define Forms

can be defined in the Define Forms area via the column Action Profile.

It is also possible to reference an action profile at the one-click actions of a BOL tree. In the Customizing Define Object Hierarchy and Object Attributes

in the section Hierarchy > One Click Actions you can use the column Ref. Action Profile.

You can select the following activity types:

  • TCODE - Transaction Launcher Transaction Code
  • BOR - Transaction Launcher Business Objects Repository Methods
  • FOP - Transaction Launcher Front Office Process
  • TXFUN - Transaction Launcher Function Module
  • TXMET - Transaction Launcher Class Method
  • FUNC - Function modules
  • METH - Class methods
  • NAV - Navigation
  • BOLMT - BOL methods
  • OUTPL - Outbound plug
  • MENU - Menu
  • SEPAR - Separator
  • FIORI – Transaction Launcher Fiori Application
  • INCL. - Include action profile reference
