In this Customizing activity, you can replicate the Subscription Product-Specific Data to an external system by using the Data Replication Framework (DRF).

You can either use the predefined standard settings, delivered by SAP and adapt it accordingly or define a completely new replication model.

If you are using the predefined replication model, described within the standard settings, you must define and assign the target system for your replication model and activate the replication model. Additionally, you must adapt the predefined Outbound Parameter PACK_SIZE_BULK.

To define your own replication model. Follow the activities described below.

Note: The subscription product-specific data depends on the existence of a subscription product, which is created and maintained in the product master and which must have been replicated before the replication of the subscription-product specific data.

To replicate Subscription Product-Specific Data the following customizing is used:

  • Replication Model SOM_PROD
  • Filter object SOM_PROD
  • Business object DRF_0073
  • Object Identifier ERP_0057
  • Service operation SOM_PROD
  • Outbound implementation SOM_PROD

To enable data replication, you must specify how data must be replicated to one or more target systems.

To define your own replication model follow the activities below:

In activities below the Customizing activity Define Custom Settings for Data Replication you can define communication-relevant settings for business systems involved in data replication.

This step is mandatory for DRF customizing to work. It is used in the replication model and is required, when data is replicated to SAP ABAP systems. In this Customizing activity you can:

  • Define Business System

  • Assign Business Object Type DRF_0073for replication of Subscription Product

  • Output Mode Direct Output - Changes are directly transferred to a target system

  • Output Mode Pooled Output - Changes are collected and transferred in a mass process later

  • Assign Communication Channel Replication via Services

  • You can define replication models and specify the outbound implementations that are used for each replication model in the Customizing activity, Define Replication Model. In addition to this you can:
  • Assign Outbound Implementation SOM_PROD for Subscription Product replication with Communication Channel Replication via Services

  • Assign Target System defined before

  • Assign Outbound Parameter PACK_SIZE_BULK
