This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in Recurring Service (CRM-S4-SRV-MNP). You can use this BAdI to adapt the predefined service order generation logic. This BAdI uses interface IF_CRMS4_MPLAN_SCHED_MODIFY. With this BAdI, you can adjust the predefined service order generation logic based on the following fields:

  • Standard fields and custom fields of a maintenance plan
  • Standard fields, including service contract item and service order template, and custom fields of a maintenance item
  • Maintenance plan call number, next planned date, and measurement point

You can adapt the following fields in the generated service orders:

  • In service order header
Description, priority, employee responsible, status, and custom fields
  • In service order item
Item number, parent item number, product, quantity, unit, doc flow relation with service order template items, and custom fields

This BAdI uses the following business contexts:

  • CRMS4_SERV_H: service transaction header
  • EAMS_MPLA: maintenance plan
  • EAMS_MPOS: maintenance item

This BAdI uses method SCHEDULING_MODIFY. You can use this BAdI method to change service order generation parameters by using a maintenance item.

  • Importing parameters
  • MAINTENANCEPLAN: maintenance plan

  • MAINTENANCEITEM: maintenance item

  • CALLDATA: maintenance plan call data

  • Changing parameters
  • SERVICEORDERHEADER_OUT: service order header

  • SERVICEORDERITEMS_OUT: service order items
