This business add-in adds the customer-specific data to the BDoc for the contract data before it is uploaded to the IS-U system.

The IS-U system contains the corresponding business add-in ECRM_CRM_UPLOAD, which reads the customer-specific data from the BDoc once it has been uploaded and transfers it to the master data generator.
