IIn this Customizing activity, you make settings for the programs that implement new address types, the premise index table and performance improvements.

In the first section of the activity, you can set up address groups for connection objects and points of delivery. Depending on this setting, when you search for the address of a technical object, the system only returns connection objects or points of delivery in CITY="Examplevillage", for example. You can also select the old form of the address group search. In our example, you could then search for connection objects and points of delivery again.

In the second section of the activity, you can create the premise index table ECRM_ISU_EVBS. The activation of this table is the basis for the case insensitive search of the following premise address fields: STR_ERG2, STR_ERG4, HAUS_NUM2, FLOOR and ROOMNUMBER. Additionally, with the activation of the premise index table it is possible to create customer enhancement sets (customer attributes) for the premise.

In the third section of the activity, you can populate the new index table ECRM_ISU_TO_IDX. The individual object, the IBase components, and their sets are stored in many different tables. The ECRM_ISU_TO_IDX table stores the most important keys of the objects to enable the search for this object to be executed more efficiently.

In the fourth section of the activity, you can optimize the selection of IBase data in the new searches. To this end, you have to populate the IN_GUID field in the IBIN table (for the migration of old releases). The component ID must have the format RAW 16.

In the fifth section of the activity, you can deactivate the ECRM_ISU_TO_IDX table. This is recommended in certain cases; for example, during an IS-U migration or when performance is reduced during the mass creation of technical objects.

In the sixth section of the activity, you create the CRM GUIDs for premises. This is mandatory for the use of the Interaction Center WebClient user interface.
