In this activity, you make the settings required to enhance premises.

Create attributes and set types using the Customizing activity Maintain Set Types and Attributes. Make sure that you transport the set type by choosing the following path from the transaction menu: Set Types/Attributes → Transport → Set Type. You do not have to create the API append if you enhance the premise. This is only required for the enhancements to the connection object and the point of delivery (PoD).

The following steps are required to enhance the premise in SAP CRM:

1. Use this Customizing activity to create the customer include CI_PRM.

2. Choose your set types in the Available Set Types column and transfer them to the Selected Set Types column using the arrow button.

3. Choose Executeto generate the include. You should also use this dialog to make changes, specifically if you want to add new set types to the include. It is not possible to delete set types for existing products. If you need to change attributes, you can for example add an additional attribute to an existing set type using the Customizing activity Maintain Set Types and Attributes. Choose Displayto display the include.

Follow-up activities

You can add or change the customer fields in every view that contains a context node of the Premisetype.

You can add or change the customer fields in the detail view for the premise in the Object Workbench using the transaction BSP_WD_CMPWB. Choose the component IUICOBJD and change the configuration for the view IUICOBJD/Premise by copying the created attributes from the list of available fields to the actual view configuration.

The additional customer information for a premise is stored in the new table ECRM_ISU_EVBS (index table for premises). In the case of the connection object and PoD enhancements, the additional information is stored in set type tables that are linked to the corresponding product/individual object.
