In this Customizing activity, you define the decision basis (DBA) models and the entity types that are used in this model.

DBA Model

In this activity, you define your decision basis models.

Top Entity Types

In this activity, you assign the top entity types used in each defined DBA model. A top entity type is the root node of an entity type tree structure or a single entity type.

The DBA model contains a number of top entity types. In the WebClient UI view of the decision basis the entries for the top entity types are directly available in assignment blocks. However, you can only view the entries for superior entity types in an entity type tree by selecting them or the associated top entity type in the decision basis explorer.
