In this Customizing activity, you can do the following:

  • Define relationship types
A relationship type represents a connection, association, or involvement between people, objects or locations. In investigative case management (ICM), each relationship type consists of two entities, for example a person and a car. Relationship types have both a description and a reverse description, since each entity's relationship to the other will be unique. For example, a car's relationship to the person who owns it is Is property ofand the person's relationship to the car is Is owner of.
  • Assign entity links to relationship types
An entity link is the link between two entity types. For example, an entity link of the relationship type is property of is Object to Person; the source entity type is Objectand the target entity type is Person.

You have defined security levels in Customizing for Serviceunder Industry-Specific Solutions -> Public Sector -> Investigative Case Management -> General Settings -> Authorizations ->Define Security Levels.
