In this Customizing activity, you can do the following:

  • Define the UI component where the interactive report, the SAP HANA Live report, or the SAP HANA Live dashboard component needs to be embedded.
  • Define the component controller context node for the selected CRM_UI component. The selected context node fields are used by the report wizard to embed reports. The mapping at the context nodes is required for the Overview Page (OVPG) type.

You make the settings in two steps:

  1. On the Define UI Componentscreen area, you can define the following:
  • UI component that has the component usage CRMCMP_OP_SHOWfor the Overview Page (OVPG) type. This is applicable for interactive reports only.

  • UI component that has the component usage CRMIR_CONTAINERfor types Shared Report Page (SRPG), Work Center (WCPG), and Home Page (HMPG) for an interactive report. Select the Interactive Reportcheckbox to ensure that the component defined is applicable to interactive reports.

  • UI component that has the component usage CRMHR_CONTAINERfor types Work Center (WCPG) and Home Page (HMPG) for a SAP HANA Live report. Select the HANA Live Report checkbox to ensure that the component defined is applicable to SAP HANA Live reports.

  • UI component that has the component usage CRMHD_CONTAINERfor the types Shared Dashboard Page (SRPG), Work Center (WCPG), and Home Page (HMPG) for SAP HANA Live dashboards. Select the SAP HANA Live Dashboard checkbox to ensure that the component defined is applicable to SAP HANA Live dashboards.

  • UI component that has the component usage CRMCMP_HR_SHOWfor the Overview Page (OVPG) type. This is applicable for SAP HANA Live reports only.

  1. On the Define Context Nodes Mapping screen area, you define the component controller context node for the selected CRM_UI component.

If the OVPG(Overview Page) component type has multiple overview pages, ensure that you add the CRMCMP_OP_SHOWcomponent to all the relevant overview pages and also to the configuration settings associated with these overview pages. This setting is applicable for interactive reports only.

  • When you embed an interactive report on the Accounts Overview Page, you must specify the name of the UI component (BP_HEAD) where the interactive report component is already embedded (This appears in the Component Namedropdown list in the second step of the Overview Page Report Assignment wizard).
  • When you embed an interactive report component on the Accounts Overview page, you must specify the component controller context node field (that is, the field OBJECT_IDof the component controller context node BTORDER) in the Business Object Attribute field menu (This appears in the Component Namedropdown list in the second step of the Overview Page Report Assignment wizard).
