In this activity, you can define how certain fields are prepopulated during generation of switch messages.

Switch messages are documents that are used to control and document switch processes. They must be generated for quotations and contracts used in connection with deregulation as they are required for communication in deregulated markets.

You use this activity to define the available switch actions and to group together actions that are permitted for certain processes.

1. Choose Define Switch Actions to define default values for the available switch actions. For example: Start of supply or change of supplier.
2. Choose Define Switch Action Groups to group together all actions permitted for a process.

You can use a switch action group to define which switch actions can be selected for a certain process.

1. Choose Allocate Switch Actions to allocate the switch action groups you have defined to processes.

These allocations determine which switch actions can be selected for a process.

In the Rank field, you can define the order in which the individual entries are displayed on the user interface.
