In this Customizing activity you specify the filter search tiles for the filter search area of the calendar.

Filter search tiles are pre-defined search criteria and are displayed in the form of buttons in the filter search area of the calendar in the WebClient UI.

  • Each filter search tile is composed of data that corresponds to one or more search attributes and is applicable to one or more categories of marketing projects.
  • The attribute that each filter search tile entry corresponds to, might not be applicable to all marketing project categories. So for each filter search tile, specify marketing project categories that apply while performing searches.

As part of standard delivery, SAP provides five filter search tiles:

  • Time
Displays a calendar year or a fiscal year variant in a hierarchy. This tile corresponds to the planned start date and planned end datesearch criteria. The entries in this tile are based on the Time Period Restriction for Searches.
Marketing project categories: All
  • Accounts
Displays account hierarchy nodes the user is authorized to see. The target group is displayed only if its value is maintained in the working context. This tile corresponds to the account hierarchy node or target groupsearch criteria.
Marketing project categories: Trade promotions
  • Marketing Plans
Displays all marketing plans the user is authorized to see. Marketing plans can be grouped by year or displayed as a regular list. The search corresponds to trade promotions and campaigns that belong to a selected marketing plan.
Marketing project categories: Campaigns and trade promotions
  • Agreements
Displays all agreements of an employee responsible. Agreements can be grouped by year, or displayed as a regular list. The search corresponds to trade promotions that are part of a selected agreement.
Marketing project categories: Trade promotions
  • Products
Displays product hierarchy nodes that belong to the product hierarchy specified in Define Role Settings -> Product Hierarchy ID field. This tile corresponds to the product ID.
By default, the product hierarchy ID is set to R3PRODHIER. You can change this.

For every business user role, you can additionally configure the following in Customizing activity Define Role Settings -> Assign Filter Search Tiles:

  • Default expansion level (for the structure of the filter search entries of each tile) and
  • Tiles displayed
  • Choose how you want to visualize the Timeand Marketing Plans filter search tiles by using grouping options.

You can do the following:

  • Delete existing tiles, or change their descriptions. You can also modify standard filter search tiles.
  • Define filter search tiles of your own. Here you also specify the search attribute that the filter search tile corresponds to.
