CRMVC_MKTPL_RLCTX - Define Rule Contexts

In this IMG activity, you can maintain the rule contexts that are available for rule processing. Usually contexts reflect a trade promotion assignment type. The associated attribute structures contain the trade promotion and related attributes available for rules processing. A critical change is determined by comparing the current value of a structure with its counterpart in the last approved version of the trade promotion. For example, attribute structure CRMS_MKTPL_BRF_BUYDATE_ATT (current value) and CRMS_MKTPL_BRF_BUYDATE_ATT_VER (last approved version) under the Header context.

The standard delivery rule contexts provide you with the relevant trade promotion structures for critical change and promotion guideline checks. We do not recommend that you change any of the contexts or associated attribute structures. However, if necessary, you can add new attribute structures and data source classes under the contexts.

1. Select the context you would like to maintain.
2. Double-click Attribute Structure.
3. Add or remove the structures to use for rule processing. To add new structures, click New Entries.

The attribute structure comparison is established by appending the structure name with _VER. You can also use the structure version column in the event that the number of characters extends beyond the capacity of the structure field.

1. Save your entries.
