In this Customizing activity, you can do the following:

  • When creating a StreamWork activity, you can define which participant groups are available to a user according to the business object.
  • You can define for a participant group whether the system automatically adds members of this group as a default when an activity is created.
  • You can also define for a participant group whether a user can select persons from this group using input help when an activity is created.
  • You must also define for a participant group which determination method (BAdI implementation) is used to select participants.

Specify the Object Type for which you want to define participant groups. By selecting the Business Object Subtype, you can restrict the selection of participant groups. If for example, the Object Type is a business transaction, you can enter the transaction types for which the participant groups are to be available.

If the same participant groups are to be available for all business transactions, use the supertype BUS20001 (business transaction) as the Object Type and leave the field Business Object Subtypeblank.

Now assign the participant groups to each Participant Group Object created and define the following for each participant group:

  • Whether the participant group is to be used for the default setting.
  • Whether input help is to be available for the participant group.
