In this IMG activity, you set specific start and end dates for the planning periods that you use in account plans. You can adapt the planning periods to match the planning cycle of your organization. These planning periods are applied to the entire organization for its account plans. You cannot apply them selectively to different areas, departments, or planning types.

The start and end dates of the planning periods that you define here are transferred to the SAP NetWeaver Business Intelligence component for use in the planning layouts.
