In this IMG activity, you define whether the sales area data is required before the user can save the account plan. In some types of business, a sales area is not used.

If you define the sales area as being required, the user has to enter a valid sales area.

Note: If you define the sales area as being not required, it is not possible to generate conditions in the account plan.
