In this Customizing activity, you can make settings to determine how the system copies attachments when you create activities from activity templates. You can define how the system copies attachments for each business activity transaction type, as follows:

  • The system does not copy any attachments.
  • The system physically copies attachments and creates duplicates in Content Management.
  • The system creates references to the original attachments. Therefore, storage capacity is saved.

Note that if you do not make any settings for a transaction type, the system does not copy attachments when you create activities from activity templates.

  • You have created attachments to activity templates.
