In this activity, you assign a transaction type to a folder template, and a profile to store information on your order. This folder template is the directory structure which appears initially before any documents have been assigned to an object.

You assign the folder structure to certain transaction types in the relevant Customizing activity for your application. In the application, this folder template then automatically appears as a default when storing documents on your order.

1. Select the transaction.
2. Select the folder template.
3. Select the template profile.
4. Save.

You want to define a folder template to be used to store information on your order. In the Customizing activity, you assign the transaction to this folder template for a specific profile.

When you maintain the order, this folder template is automatically displayed under the tabstrip Document.

You can change the template by creating new folders or changing the order of existing folders.
