In this Customizing activity, you make settings to enable a chat window that allows Web shop customers to chat with agents. This is useful when, for example, Web shop customers want to ask questions about a product before buying it.
In the Maintenance View for Chat Options, you need to enter the following information:
- Remote IP Address
- IP Address where the Communication Management Software (CMS) proxy is hosted (SAP Business Communication Management Chat Portal and Online Integration Interface)
- Port
- Port number of the server corresponding to the remote IP address
- Default User Name
- The default user name in the CMS, used to obtain the list of agents who are available for a chat
- Channel Address
- Communication channel address that is entered during set up of chat channel in CMS
