With this function you can assign a relationship between static processes and freely definable channel partner classification attributes.

The classification attributes must be previously created in Channel Management Customizing under Partner Management. The following attributes are possible:

  • Partner type
  • Partner status
  • Partner program

Here you can decide according to which channel partner type, program, and/or status the defined processes are executed.

The possible processes are specified.

The following processes can be selected:

  • NEWS = Relevant for Content Management (filtered display of data according to channel partner attribute). The NEWS process can be defined several times.
  • REGP = Accepting the channel partner from partner registration process.
  • REGO = Partner registration process is not yet finished, the activity remains open.
  • REGN = Rejecting potential channel partners

The displayed fields have the following meaning:

  • Process = Description of the static process
  • CP-Type = Channel Partner type
  • CP-Prog = Channel Partner program
  • CP-Status = Channel Partner status
  • Standard = Should the attribute values be standard values (true).

  • Process = REGP
  • CP-Status = Z001 (accepted)
  • Standard = undefined

This means that process REGP is linked with channel partner status Z001 (= accepted).
Note:
SAP provides an action implementation (CRM_CHM_PM_REGP) that can be linked with the completion of an activity (in the request for the registration process) and which sets the status of the appropriate channel partner to the value (here: Z001 = accepted) that is saved for the process REGP.
