CRMV_EOP_ADMIN - Define End of Purpose Write Settings

In this Customizing activity, you make write settings for the End of Purpose Check to block business partner data.

You can define the following write settings for the EoP:

• USE_WRITE_LOCK

The USE_WRITE_LOCKcheckbox controls how you write the end of business information to the table CRMD_EOB_FOR_BP:

• If you select the USE_WRITE_LOCK checkbox, the table CRMD_EOB_FOR_BPis locked until the write function is finished. This exclusive write lock can affect system performance.

• If you do not select the USE_WRITE_LOCK checkbox, the table CRMD_EOB_FOR_BP is not locked during the write function. This non-exclusive write lock can lead to inconsistent data, since the update is performed asynchronously.

• WRITE_EOB_FOR_BP

• If you select the WRITE_EOB_FOR_BP checkbox, the end of business information is saved for each business partner when a contract is saved.

• If you do not select the WRITE_EOB_FOR_BP checkbox, the end of business information is not saved for each business partner when a contract is saved.
