CRMV_FIELD_AUTH - Define Authorization Group

In this Customizing activity, you can create authorization groups and assign fields to them. For business transaction components, such as partner or document flow, you can also specify the logical key for the field and thereby include the business transaction component's special fields in the authorization check.

Using the assignments in this Customizing activity, you can allow certain authorization groups to change fields. In addition, you can use the authorization check not only for individual fields, but also for a business transaction component's entire table entry. The following business transaction components are supported:

• Order item (ORDERADM_I)

• Partner (PARTNER)

• Document flow (DOC_FLOW)

You can then, for example, allow certain users to delete and create order items.

When carrying out an authorization check, the system analyzes, for each object to be checked, the Customizing table for the authorization group and, for each authorization group, the control table CRMM_AUTH_FIELD.

You have created an authorization with reference to authorization object CRM_FLDCHK, assigned this authorization to an authorization profile, and assigned this profile to the corresponding user.
