In this Customizing activity, you can assign expense types to fund types.

1. Assigning expense types to fund types is not required to use the Customizing activity BAdI: Fund Determination for claims management. For more information, see Customizing for claims management.
2. Assigning expense types to fund types is required in order to use the default implementation of account determination for settlement. However, you can define account determination for settlement so that assigning expense types to fund types is not required. You can make this definition in the Customizing activity Assign Symbolic Account Key.

You have completed the definition of expense types in the Customizing activity Define Expense Types.
