In this Customizing activity, you map a SAP NetWeaver Business Warehouse (SAP NetWeaver BW) key figure from the live rates planning layout to a fund type. This mapping identifies the following information:

  • The fund types to post budget updates to
Only budget updates from budget posting types Performance Budget Update and Budget Updatesare posted to funds after you run the Live Rates Postingreport.
  • The key figures that contain the budget amounts that are posted to the funds

You have done the following:

  • Defined budget posting transaction types for performance budget updates and budget updates in Define Transaction Types
  • Defined your planning environment in BPS

Make the following settings:

  • Assign a fund type and the corresponding key figure.
  • Assign the budget posting transaction types that affect the funds with the corresponding fund type as a result of live rates planning.
  • Assign the following budget posting transaction types
  • Performance budget update

  • Budget update
