In this IMG activity, you configure the settings for an organization. Thereby, the data that is available on a handheld for a specific user is customized for the users belonging to a specific organization.

This is achieved by:

  • Adding the Business Partner (BP) for the Field Service Representative, via a position in the organization, in the organizational model.
  • Attaching the BP of the Field Service Representative to the service team.
Note
After configuring settings for the organization, you can configure settings for BPs, products, activities, tasks, and so on as described in the following IMG documentation.

You have executed the SPRO transaction and navigated to Customer Relationship Management --> SAP Solutions for Mobile Business --> Mobile Service for Handheld. The Display IMG screen is displayed.

  1. Choose the Executeicon next to the Settings for Mobile Service for Handheld option in the Display IMG screen.
The Change View "Organization": Overview screen appears. This screen is used to customize Mobile Service for Handheld applications.
You can structure the organization unit in service as follows:
Service Organisation
-> Service Team
-> Position
-> Business Partner
-> User who synchronizes the PDA
The business partner of the user who synchronizes his/her PDA must be attached to the service team.
Note
For Pricing: The Sales Organisation is taken together with the distribution channel from the sales attribute of the service organisation to derive the prices.
For Time Specifications and Service Assignments: The Service team has to be transferred to the WFM Core (via report CRM_LRP_FILL_RES).
  1. Click New Entries.
The New Entries: Overview of Added Entries screen appears.
  1. Mark your service organization as Default Service.
