In this Customizing activity, you make settings for maintaining additional information fields at SAP CC mapping/range table level. There are three types of data:

• String

• Number

• Date

You can create only one entry for each type with the same name. Each additional information field includes a name, a type, a value, and a description in SAP CC. In SAP S/4HANA for Customer Management, the field includes a name, a type, and a description. The mapping table/range table can be searched using this field.

You must maintain the entries in this view, which includes three fields:

• Name

• Type

• Description

You must maintain the same entries in SAP CC. Only the entries with the same name and type in both systems can be used as selection fields. For the fields with the types date and number, the exact value of that field that is maintained in SAP CC must be entered.

The additional information fields must be maintained to be displayed on the UI.

If in SAP CC a field with the number type has the value 100, it can be found in SAP S/4HANA for Customer Management if the number 100 is entered.
