This Customizing activity is only relevant for the integration of SAP CRM with SAP S/4HANA.

In this Customizing activity, you can map credit segments and credit control areas. This is a required step for connecting SAP CRM to SAP Credit Management (FIN-FSCM-CR) in SAP S/4HANA. The connection is established using SAP NetWeaver Process Integration.

For an overview of the required settings for connecting your SAP CRM system to SAP Credit Management (FIN-FSCM-CR) in SAP S/4HANA, see the Activitiessection.

You must define the following settings to set up the connection between your SAP CRM system and SAP Credit Management in SAP S/4HANA:

To use the SAP Credit Management in SAP S/4HANA, you need to make the following settings:

  • Activate the integration of SAP CRM with SAP Credit Management.
You do this in Customizing for Customer Relationship Managment under Basic Functions-> Credit Management -> Integration with FSCM -> Display Credit Master Data from Credit Management System -> General Settings.
  • Define credit segments.
You do this in Customizing for Customer Relationship Management under Basic Functions-> Credit Management -> Integration with FSCM -> Display Credit Master Data from Credit Management System -> Define Texts for Displaying Credit Segment.
  • Define which credit segment is determined by which credit control area.
You do this in this Customizing activity (Assign Credit Segment to Credit Control Area).
  • Assign the credit control area to sales organizational units.
You do this in Customizing for Customer Relationship Managementunder Master Data -> Organizational Management-> Cross-System Assignment of Organizational Units-> Assign Credit Control Areas to Sales Organizational Units.
  • Define the rule that the system is to use in credit checks.
You do this in Customizing for Customer Relationship Management under Basic Functions-> Credit Management -> Maintain Credit Group.
  • Connect your SAP CRM system to the credit management system using XI interfaces.
