Document Flow defines the possible links between Loyalty and CRM objects.

In this Customizing activity, you can assign business transactions such as activities, sales orders etc such that these business transactions can be created as follow up documents of a loyalty application. The source application is a loyalty application and the target application is a business transaction such as a lead, sales order and so on.

To copy data from the source to the target, you need to specify a copy class in the column Application Class. This copy class must inherit from CL_CRM_LOY_DOCFLOW_COPY. The business logic for copying the data is provided by implementing the method COPY_LOY_TO_1O.

For example, to create an e-mail as a follow up of a membership, you have to maintain the membership name, the e-mail transaction type, and the copy class, if any, in the application transaction type and application class name respectively. Follow ups can also be created for partnerships.

On the CRM WebClient UI, for all loyalty objects the customizing activities added can be viewed by clicking the Follow Up button on the Overview page of the object.

The transaction types need to be sourced from the entries in the Customizing activity, Define Transaction Types.
