In this Customizing activity, you define outbound correspondence profiles.

A profile is a combination of an event, a receiver type along with the communication channel and execution mode. In a loyalty program, every profile has a corresponding mail form. An outbound correspondence profile is identified by the profile ID.

In the Customizing activity Define Receiver Types, you have defined the receiver type.

In the Customizing activity Define Events and Assign Receiver Types, you have defined the event and assigned receiver type to the event.

In the Customizing activity Maintain Sender Address for E-mail, you have maintained the sender profile.

In the Customizing activity Define Residence Time for Outbound Correspondence, you have defined the residence time for direct events.

  1. Choose New Entries.
  2. Enter Profile ID.
  3. Enter description for the profile ID.
  4. Select Event ID.
  5. Select Receiver Type.
  6. Select Communication Channel.
If you select Openas the Communication Channel, you have implemented the method HANDLE_OPEN_CHANNEL in the BAdI: Business Logic for Outbound Correspondence.
  1. Select Sender Profile.
  2. Select Status.
  3. Select Execution Mode.
If you select Directas the Execution Mode, you have the residence time in the Customizing activity Define Residence Time for Outbound Correspondence.
If you select Batchas the Execution Mode, you have to select a date, a time and a frequency for execution.
  1. Save your entries.
