In this Customizing activity, you maintain the list of marketing project clusters. The descriptions you maintain here are available in the following areas of the calendar, in the WebClient UI:
- Filter search area under Marketing Project Clusters.
- Graphical display area, as part of the calendar structure
A marketing project cluster is a group of marketing projects. You can group marketing projects into a cluster based on their types and objectives.
If you do not group marketing projects into clusters, all marketing project types available to a user appear in the form of a regular list - both, in the filter search and graphical display area. You make this setting in Customizing activity Define Role Settings.
As part of standard delivery SAP provides the following marketing project clusters:

Enter the Cluster IDs and Descriptions you want to use here. Next, complete Customizing activity Assign Marketing Project Types and Objectives To A Cluster.
To be able to view these cluster groupings, enable the Allow Cluster Grouping checkbox for the corresponding business user role, in Customizing activity Define Role Settings.
Formulate descriptions depending on how you group marketing projects. For example, if you want to group marketing projects like trade promotions based on their type, you could have the following structure:
Trade [cluster]
o,,Long Term Trade Promotions [type]
o,,Price Promotions [type]
