CRMV_MKP_OPT - Define Opt-In Identifiers

In this Customizing activity, you define an opt-in identifier to represent validity periods of different lengths. Validity periods specify for how many months a consent with the value Given is valid. The validity period starts on the Date of Consent entered in the marketing permission.

You make settings in this Customizing activity when the following conditions apply:

• You have customers who are subject to opt-in type laws.

• You will create entries for the Customizing activity Define Opt-In Settings.

Use a meaningful name for the identifier, such as an abbreviation of the applicable law. For example use DPA1988 for the UK Data Protection Act 1988, or BDSG2009 for the German Federal Data Protection Act 2009.
