CRMV_MKTPL_BI_IO - Assign BI Info Objects to MDF Programs and MDF Special Programs

This Customizing activitiy is relevant only if:

• You want to use the market development funds (MDF) business scenario.

• You want to create marketing project hierarchies that contain MDF programs or MDF special programs as well as marketing plans.

• You want to extract such hierarchies to an SAP NetWeaver Business Intelligence system (BI system), using data sources or reports.

In this Customizing activity, you assign a BI info object to MDF programs and a BI info object to MDF special programs.

You must have one entry for MDF programs and one entry for MDF special programs.

This assignment is required when the 0CRM_MKTELM_FULL_HIER and 0CRM_MKTELM_PART_HIER data sources of your SAP CRM system or reports in your SAP CRM system extract a marketing project hierarchy of the kind described above to a BI system. The BI system has a BI info object ( 0CRM_MKTELM) as part of the BI content delivered by SAP that you can use to store information on marketing plans. However, BI content delivered by SAP does not provide a BI info object for storing information on MDF programs and MDF special programs. Therefore, you must create BI info objects for this purpose in the BI system and you must specify in your CRM system which BI info object is the destination for information on MDF programs and which is the destination for information on MDF special programs.
