CRMV_MKTPL_HIER - Settings to Show Hierarchy by Default

Based on the role configuration, you use this Customizing activity to define that the Hierarchy window opens by default when you open or create a marketing plan or a campaign. The option is restricted to these two marketing project types only.

If you choose this option, it reduces the number of necessary clicks and therefore reduces the time and effort required.

Note: The button to hide the hierarchy is available on every level.

If you have maintained X as the parameter value for parameter ID CRM_MKTPL_UIU in SAPGUI -> System -> User Profile -> Own Data -> Parameters (Tab), then settings maintained in this customizing activity are not taken in to consideration and the hierarchy view is displayed by default for all types of marketing objects.

In Customizing, you must have defined the relevant business roles and marketing project types.

You make the setting for a combination of a business role and marketing project type. To define that the hierarchy be displayed, proceed as follows:

1. Choose New Entries.
2. In the Business Role column, use the input help to select the role for which you want to make the setting.
3. In the Type column, use the input help to select the marketing project type for which you want to make the setting.
4. In the Shw Hierch column, select the checkbox.
5. Save your entries.
