In this IMG activity, you define a unit of measure and the number of decimal places for the various variants of standard counter types. This information is used to classify counters, particularly for reporting purposes.

When you assign a counter attribute to a counter, the system adopts the unit of measure and number of decimal places in the counter, where you can change them if necessary.

Please note that the number of decimal places merely controls the output format for the counters. The system always saves the full value internally as a floating-point number.
