In this IMG activity you define the layout of infolists in the Partner Overview.

The layout settings comprise three areas:

  1. Sorting infolists
  2. Filtering infolists
  3. Manipulating infolist columns

You define variants for each of these areas. Each sort variant, filter variant and column variant is assigned to exactly one infolist class. The infolist class you select determines the field names you can use when defining a concrete sort, filter or column variant.

You can define several sort options for each sort variant. The same is also true of filter variants and column variants.

  • You define the following for each sort variant in the Sort Settings:
  • Field Name: The fields by which infolists are to be sorted

  • Sort Position: The sequence in which infolists are to be sorted

  • Sort Direction: The direction in which a field is to be sorted. This can be bottom up or top down.

  • You make the following settings for each filter variant in the Filter Settings:
  • Field Name: The fields by which an infolist is to be sorted.

  • Position: Differentiates between filters for the same field.

This setting is necessary if an infolist is to be sorted using the same fields but with different criteria.
  • +/- Sign: Determines whether the filter result is to be inclusive or exclusive of the filter criteria.

The +/-sign of a filter can be exclusive or inclusive.
  • Option: Determines whether an infolist is sorted within an infolist field according to a single value or a value interval.

The two filter options here are Single Valueand Interval.
  • From: Filter criterion that is interpreted as a single value or as the start value of an interval, depending on the chosen filter option.

  • To: Filter criterion that is either ignored or interpreted as the end value of an interval, depending on the chosen filter option.

  • You define the following for each column variant in the Column Settings:
  • Column: Determines the infolist column for which the settings are valid.

  • Column Number: Determines the position of the column when it is displayed.

  • Tech. Field: Shows (Blank) or hides (Selection) the column.

  • Title (Long): Long column title.

  • Title (Medium): Medium-length column title.

  • Title (Short): Short column title.

You have to have completed the IMG activity Define Infolists.

Sort, filter and column variants can be maintained without being assigned to infolist classes. However, in this case they do not affect the layout of the Partner Overview.
