In this Customizing activity, you specify which products and product categories are available for quota planning. You can filter available products or product categories in one of the following ways:

• Include only the products and product categories contained in the product hierarchy defined for the Sales application.

• Include the products and product categories that are both contained in the product hierarchy defined for the Sales application, and specified as product or product category values for the sales attribute in the Organizational Model.

You have defined a product hierarchy for the Sales application in the Customizing activity Assign Category Hierarchies to Applications.

If filtering available products and product categories by the Organizational Model as well as by the product hierarchy, you must select product or product category values for the sales attribute in the Organizational Model.

Select a filtering option.
